Where do you get a radar?
The recorded PC tutorial points to the purple Equipment Shop, marked PERALATAN, and asks the player to obtain a Basic Radar (Radar Dasar). At about 2:59, the narrator describes this first radar as free and the radar appears in the hotbar. That is a tutorial observation, not a promise that every later radar is free.
Approach the shop and use the interaction the current screen shows. The recording uses E on PC. Read the offer before accepting it; stock, price and duration may differ by session or update. The tutorial then prompts the player to click the radar to equip it. The footage supports this equipment step, but it does not show a measured detection radius.
What does the later shop offer show?
At about 19:32, the same recording opens the Equipment Shop again. Its visible snapshot lists Basic Radar for 1,000 Coins, three in stock, and a small '5 min - 1 use' label. An Improved Radar (Radar yang Disempurnakan) is listed below for 8,000 Coins with two in stock. These are values on one recorded menu, not a current price list for every server.
The Basic Radar row includes a control labeled 'Click to see Egg chance'. The recording does not establish what the expanded details mean, whether the numbers are egg spawn odds, or whether any radar changes hatch outcomes. Treat the control as a reason to inspect the current in-game explanation, not as evidence that buying a higher tier guarantees a rare egg.
A practical decision before spending coins
Finish the first pickup-and-hatch loop before evaluating another radar. Confirm whether the tutorial has already given you a Basic Radar, then check the current shop price, stock and duration label. If you want to compare equipment, hold the search route and session conditions as steady as possible and record what actually changes on screen.
A radar is an equipment choice; a faster riding fish and a safer return route solve different problems. If eggs are being lost during delivery, study the transport warning and Egg Box return first. A paid radar would not, on the evidence reviewed here, extend the carried egg deadline.

Is the Basic Radar always free?
No such general rule is verified. The recorded first tutorial calls its Basic Radar free; a later shop screen in the same video displays a 1,000 Coin Basic Radar offer.
Does Improved Radar increase rare-egg odds?
The reviewed footage does not establish that effect. It shows an Improved Radar offer and an expandable Egg chance label, without a verified probability definition or controlled comparison.
