Recorded Ride A Fish aquarium panel at five of five occupied fish positions

Ride A Fish Aquarium: Fish Slots, EXP and Income

Read the aquarium's occupancy, fish cards, EXP and income labels, then decide whether to feed or unequip a fish. A recorded 5/5 panel is one player's state, not an upgrade rule.

What does the aquarium panel tell you?

The aquarium panel shows how many fish are present, individual fish cards, age, weight, EXP progress and a coin-per-second label. In the reviewed recording the count is 2/5 during an early visit and 5/5 after later hatches. These are the player's observed states; they do not prove a permanent five-fish cap, a purchase path for more slots, or a server-wide income rate.

A new hatch can enter the aquarium directly. At about 10:08, a message says a Mackerel has been added and the aquarium panel reads 5/5. Confirm the fish's name and card there before expecting it in the hotbar. The beginner guide covers the egg-to-hatch sequence; this page is for reading and managing the aquarium after that result.

Choose between keeping, feeding and riding

Each fish row has Feed and Unequip controls in the recording. Feed targets growth within the aquarium; Unequip moves the selected fish into inventory so it can be chosen for a ride. If the aim is a new ride, use the named fish row and then check backpack and hotbar state. If the aim is a fish's displayed growth, record its EXP and age before feeding so the outcome is attributable to that fish.

The panel also shows an Equip Best button, but its selection rule was not tested in the reviewed sequence. It should not replace a deliberate choice when you need to compare two fish on the same route. Similarly, the visible coin-per-second labels are per recorded fish instance; they do not establish a species income ranking.

How to avoid misreading the numbers

Keep four observations separate: occupancy describes how many fish the panel currently contains; EXP describes one fish's progress; weight is displayed for that fish; and Coins/s is the panel's displayed income at that moment. A change in one does not, by itself, establish a formula for another.

If a hatch appears missing, check the result notification, reopen your own aquarium, and inspect its count and fish list before assuming a failed hatch. The source recording supports a direct aquarium addition and one occupied-count change. It does not verify what happens when a fish is hatched while all slots are occupied.

QUICK ANSWERS

Aquarium questions

Is 5/5 the maximum aquarium capacity?

It is the count visible for one player in the reviewed recording. The footage does not establish whether capacity can change or what happens at full occupancy.

Does the highest Coins/s fish ride fastest?

No speed relationship is established by the aquarium cards. Use the separate same-route movement comparison if riding speed is your question.

Gameplay sources and limits

  • DEDE TWINS — early aquarium controls

At 5:49 and 6:19, the panel shows occupancy, per-fish stats, Feed and Unequip controls. The values are individual states; the footage does not test full-capacity behavior.

  • DEDE TWINS — hatch added to aquarium

At 10:00–10:10, a Mackerel hatch is added and the visible aquarium count reaches 5/5. This supports direct addition for that observed hatch, not a permanent slot cap or upgrade route.
